MadLife's Chief Studio Engineer, Steven Morrison, is a GRAMMY-nominated engineer with more than a decade of professional experience. Through the course of his career, Steven has worked with a diversity of prominent musicians crossing many genres.

At the heart of MadLife's studio control room is our Midas Pro 1, equipped with DL431 mic pre amplifiers. An RPM dynamics TB248/48 provides the interface to our Mac Pro (6-core), equipped with 32GB of RAM running Pro Tools 12.5.
Live Rooms
Two rooms that work independently or together — with full sightlines from the control room.
Our A tracking room doubles as MadLife's main performance venue. Featuring non-parallel walls, abundant acoustic treatment, and a cathedral ceiling that soars 33 feet, it is the perfect space for creating big live-room sounds.
At 25' × 16' × 18' high, our B tracking room provides the perfect blend of live and dead acoustic performance — ideal for drums or an intimate vocal. Plenty of room to stretch out and feel creative.
MadLife has two tracking rooms that can be utilized independently or in unison, accommodating nearly any size project. With a great line of sight from our control room to both rooms, it is easy to capture a live performance feel with a variety of tones and isolation — or use both at once.
